We’re looking to hire an experienced Head Chef in Mediterranean cuisine, to join our team and our brand-new concept restaurant!
1. Oversees many diverse aspects of kitchen functions.
2. In charge of kitchen staff recruitment, training, and development of staff performance, duties, and responsibilities
3. Leading, managing and work closely with kitchen team.
4. Holding accounting, scheduling, back-of-house, and occasional crossover to front-of-house
5. Excellent origin and menu knowledge, production recipe, and seeking ways to improve kitchen and production.
6. Staff kitchen, assign tasks, and monitor operation.
7. Coordinate’s restaurant management, supply, ordering, budget, kitchen efficiency and staffing
8. Complete required mise en place or prep list in a timely fashion
9. Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment, clean your required tools with health and safety standards.
10. Work efficiently with a constant sense of urgency
11. Maintenance of work area throughout shift and preparation for shift turnover
12. Exceeding personal hygiene, health & safety guidelines and procedures, safe food handling, and sanitation practices standards
13. Ensures proper rotation of all products and stocks products to par.
14. Must be flexible to work various shifts, hours, and holidays/weekends.
