Key Accountabilities
Relationships
Use all QFC and Government portal and coordinate with all of them
Build and maintain relationships with government and QFC agency officials and partner agents such as visa and work permit authorities in order to get efficient service from them for CBIS employees.
Respond to and resolve queries of CBQ CBFS, CBAM and CBIS employees and staff on matters related to government regulations of work permits, CID, Medical Commission, new joiners and visas etc. in a prompt, polite and efficient manner to clarify their doubts and follow up to expedite their cases.
Documentation and Processing
Prepare process and obtain timely approval for applications for governmental clearances such as for visas, work permits, medicals etc., and resolve and consequent queries for CBQ CBFS, CBAM and CBIS employees, to be employees or sponsored visitors in order to comply with local regulations.
Establish and maintain employee records for governmental documentation such as visas, sponsorship transfers, CID clearance, medical records, QFC Portal etc. for reference and future use.
Emergency Response
Be readily responsive for any emergencies for CBQ CBFS, CBAM and CBIS employees in case they need to exit the country urgently and process exit permit in order to support employees to exit Qatar at a short notice.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering ‘international leading practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Statements and Reports
Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet CBQ and department requirements, policies and standards.
Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment
Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
