PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To carry out the minor maintenance activities in the facilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the facilities without any disturbance or requirements of prolonged communications.
KEY RESULT AREAS - PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES.
• Job assigned by his supervisor on day-to-day basis.
• Shifting of furniture to various locations inside the building
• Set-up of small event to its venues for seating arrangement, flip chart stands, pin board stands, small tents-Arabic Majilis.
• Set-up of portable signage, mobile counters for office and academic activities
• Flags inspection of facilities with outdoor flag poles, and replace damage flags or ropes
• Installation of frame photos, framed certification, small decors directly to wall or by drilling
• Inspection of the building common areas to identify unsafe storage of materials, tools and construction debris left by workers or fixtures installing staffs.
• Inspection of domestic water level to ensure building will not have water interruption
• Minor repair of doors including replacement of door locks, cylinders, stoppers etc.
• Minor repair of cabinets including replacement of locks, fixing of new locks, replacement of hinges, handles etc.
• Minor touch up painting
• Shifting of furniture inside the building
• Small repair of tiles including grouting
• Fixing of window blinds, clocks, signage etc.,
• Water tap replacement
• Replacement of Shattafa
• Fixing of hand showers
• Water filter replacement
• Shower hose replacement
• W/C Flusher and sensor replacement
• Wash basin repair
• De-choking of Toilet drains
• Water heater Inspection
• Changing of fused bulbs
• Inspection of booster pumps
• Road barrier arm replacement
• Attending to any other minor problems
• Being vigilant in the facilities and to fix the minor problems without being told to do so.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance works.
• Good communication skills
• Aptitude towards the maintenance activities, monitoring of the system.
