Job Summary The Group Marketing and Communications Director is responsible for planning, development, implementation, and measurement of the marketing and communications strategies and implementation plans across the portfolio. This includes directing the efforts of the marketing communications staff and coordination at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the organization. The role should maintain an excellent working relationship with all key companies, departments, suppliers, and agencies, as well as with all relevant staff support groups, while also entrusted with the necessary authority to accomplish the objectives, and to operate within established policies, procedures, and ethics. Job Responsibilities 1 Develop the overarching marketing strategy, which includes branding, advertising, social media presence, PR, communications, and digital presence for the group. Develop a comprehensive corporate brand strategy and identity. Market positioning, trusted business partner in the hospitality and asset management space. Set thought leadership objectives and program. Manage and leverage cross-promotions opportunities within the business ecosystem and across other brands. Identify areas of leverage within the business ecosystem to show economies of scale and cost efficiencies. Conduct market research to have an accurate understanding of market trends and forward-looking strategies. Understand areas of opportunity for demand generation within both the hospitality and retail space. Define a partnership / sponsorship strategy with key brands in the tourism, retail, and hospitality space to leverage other brands. Assess current marketing department capabilities and needs and optimize the structure to align with business needs. 
Defines reporting mechanisms and approach to become more efficient and effective in delivering desired results to the business units. Develops marketing plans and programs across the Company portfolio, in conjunction with GCEO and business unit heads to set marketing objectives which are aligned with business objectives and marketing budgets: Works within allotted marketing budget, Defines ROI for each campaign. Reports on all activities and metrics set forth in campaign brief. Formulates the marketing initiatives and tactical implementation plans to attain set strategic objectives, along with identification of budgetary and human resources required to meet set objectives. Responsible for measuring the success of all marketing activities, promotions, and campaigns, and producing performance reports for all key stakeholders. Develop hard copy and digital materials required on-site and at the point of sale which conform to agreed brand standards, including the development of imagery and content compliant to brand guidelines. POS sales and positioning materials. Advertising campaign materials.
Job Responsibilities 2 Refine digital presence for websites and social media applications and set objectives for each channel (# of followers, views, visits, engagement, etc.). Develop and manage all social media activity (community management) for each product within the cluster including social media posts, campaigns, influencer engagement, competitions, and other tactics required to grow engagement. Ensure social media and traditional media influencer engagement is conducted with defined objectives and return on investment. Carry out competitive analysis to maintain a pulse in the competitive environment, including campaigns and offers in the market. Support the sales efforts by planning trade roadshows and exhibition presence, as well as the necessary materials required such as brochures, presentation materials, and content. Identify local and regional partnership opportunities, including corporate and government partnership and sponsorship. Respond to customer postings as appropriate by managing negative and damaging social media issues. Cultivate and maintain relationships with media and influential professionals to ensure local and regional traction and earned media goals. Work closely with marketing agencies to define scope of work, deliverables, and measurement criteria. Highlight key touchpoints in the guest journey to increase customer satisfaction scores and engagement rates.Additional Responsibilities 3 Job Knowledge & Skills Solid experience managing both Marketing and PR Campaigns Familiarity with different social networks, and latest trend in marketing / advertising Strong industry network and contacts with journalists and members of the press Polished presenter and adept at explaining PR and marketing terms and outcomes to senior players.
