Job Description

Job Summary:

The Government Transactions Representative will manage and process various governmental transactions efficiently and effectively. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of procedures and regulations across numerous government sectors in Qatar, including the Ministry of Trade and Business, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Customs, Trade Marks, Expatriate Department, ADLSA, Medical Commission, and CID.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all government-related documentation and transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Represent the company and its clients across all governmental sectors.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with various government departments.
  • Assist in processing expatriate-related paperwork, including visas and residency permits.
  • Manage trademark registration and other related activities.
  • Liaise with the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (ADLSA) for labor-related transactions.
  • Coordinate medical examinations and related processes with the Medical Commission.
  • Assist with police clearance certificates and related CID processes.
  • Manage transactions with the Ministry of Trade and Business and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, ensuring all business-related permits and licenses are up to date.
  • Handle commercial registration, commercial/trade licenses, and trademark registrations.
  • Oversee customs-related documentation and processes, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain a tracker for all registration documents, ensuring timely renewals.
  • Manage Metrash2 and handle all E-Government transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions.
  • Provide translation services as required for government documents.
  • Ensure timely execution of all transactions to meet client needs.
  • Professionally deal with clients, ensuring clear communication and a high level of customer service.
  • Approach potential clients and ensure very high customer satisfaction.
  • Provide clients with updates on the status of their transactions and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Handle transactions related to the Ministry of Business (MoB) in Qatar.
  • Deal with suppliers regarding office stationery and other administrative needs.
  • Communicate with clients and internal staff using Microsoft Outlook.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Languages: Proficiency in Arabic and English.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience: Extensive experience dealing with various governmental sectors.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in handling government transactions and dealings with governmental bodies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Qatar’s government regulations and procedures.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple government-related tasks efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory compliance in government transactions.
  • Valid Qatari driver's license.
