Job Description
Role Overview:
As the General Claims Manager (Non Motor), you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient handling and processing of non-motor insurance claims at our company. You will lead a team of claims staffs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering exceptional customer service to our policyholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the non-motor claims department, including staff supervision, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement efficient claims handling procedures in accordance with Islamic insurance principles and regulatory requirements.
- Review and assess complex non-motor insurance claims, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and adherence to policy terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as underwriting and legal to resolve complex claims issues and mitigate risks.
- Monitor claims trends and identify areas for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including policyholders, brokers, and third-party service providers.
- Prepare and present claims reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; insurance certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in non-motor insurance claims management, preferably insurance background
- Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and regulations governing non-motor claims.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex claims issues and develop effective solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management software.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is advantageous.
