Your day-to-day:


• Oversees banquets or events, including set-up, food presentation, serving, and clean up while focusing on detail and quality
• Responsible for training and coaching of the banquet staff
• Attend to guests’ requests and handle complaints.
• Coordinates with other departments to arrange for the delivery of requested services
• Inspects table place settings, including table linen, china, glass, silverware, and condiments for correct placement
• Ensures proper setting of buffet tables and other food service tables
• Maintains clean and orderly back areas, pre-function areas and storage areas
• Has a good knowledge of menu and presentation standards
• Ensures that hotel brand standards and SOP's are consistently implemented
• Any other duties related to food and beverage service assigned by the manager


What we need from you:


• Must speak fluent Arabic and English
• Should have pleasing personality
• Excellent guest service skill
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service
• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field
• Familiar with Point of sale systems, MS office, Property management systems etc.
• 2 – 3 years of work experience in Food & Beverage gained from a 5 star international property, along with 1 year experience in a Captain position or a similar role an advantage
