Summary
The individual is directly responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, reviewing and evaluating the work of fleet staff and use of considerable independence, initiative and discretion within established guidelines, responsible for ensuring that the mobility fleet of vehicles is well supervised, safe, and operating efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, assign supervise and review the work of assigned staff in the central fleet operations related to all the processes including providing temporary replacement vehicles to customer who have been involved in accidents or whose vehicles are undergoing repairs and maintenance, ensuring that customers receive prompt and efficient service while their vehicles are unavailable.
- In charge of controlling and managing the fleet of replacement vehicles, which includes scheduling maintenance and repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are in good condition and comply with Mobility standard operating procedures.
- Ensure that the replacement procedure is checked and documented properly by the Fleet Controller in charge so that the vehicles are provided in a timely and efficient manner.
- Verifies and validates daily replacement reports and maintains accurate records of all transactions, including customer information and vehicle specifications, to confirm that all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Oversee the inventory of available vehicles, including keeping accurate records of vehicle availability, tracking vehicle location, and ensuring that vehicles are in good working order, in order to determine the types and quantities of vehicles required to meet the needs of the customer.
- Coordination and scheduling of regular maintenance and repairs for all available vehicles to guarantee compliance with Mobility's standard procedures.
- Ascertain that the original vehicle to be handed over is repaired in accordance with the customer's comments or vehicle service recommendations ensuring that customers receive prompt and excellent service.
- Review and approve tire and battery requests made by Mobility staff to make sure they adhere to company policies and procedures and meet the necessary performance and safety requirements.
- Determine and recommend staffing needs with appropriate justification and assist in selection to the operation for a smooth running of operational activities.
- Coach the team members on specific skills and assist the team members in development, setting objectives and performance standards, conduct performance management and manage it with constructive feedback.
- Coordinate with the vendors and monitor work progress in accordance with projects requirements, ensuring compliance in terms of time and specification, report any issues that may arise and work closely with senior team members to solve raised issues.
