As the Finance Business Intelligence Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering the Finance Business Intelligence (FBI) Strategy across various business units within your assigned portfolio. Your focus will be on specific projects that enhance our financial intelligence capabilities and drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Delivery: You will be responsible for the successful implementation and ongoing management of the FBI Strategy, ensuring its alignment with our business objectives. Data Products & Dashboard Creation: You will leverage your expertise in data analysis and visualization to create comprehensive data products and dashboards. These tools will provide insightful and modern visualizations of performance metrics and trends, enabling informed decision-making across the business. Communication & Collaboration: You will communicate effectively with various business teams, providing them with valuable analytical insights on performance and trends. Your role will involve working closely with these teams to identify areas of opportunity and drive performance improvement. Integrity & Advocacy: You will maintain the integrity of the overarching FBI Strategy, articulating and promoting it within your area of responsibility. As an advocate and ambassador for FBI principles, you will foster a culture of data-driven decision making across the business.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of business intelligence principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. Your work will directly influence our financial strategies and contribute to our overall business success.

Accountabilities:



Lead and manage the FBI deliverables for the assigned portfolio. Support data quality, accuracy, enhancement within the FBI area of responsibilities. Be point of reference for building content and dashboard for relevant stakeholders. Work with FBI leadership to revise the annual strategy for the assigned portfolio. Develop the implementation strategy in collaboration with Head of FBI. Take strategic targets and translate into project scopes to deliver improved business efficiency, reduce cost and increase revenue. Train, coach and mentor colleagues in Business Intelligence implementation Ensure data and content is provided in an accurate way and on timely manner within the respective portfolio. Communicate effectively between the FBI team and the key stakeholders regarding requirements. Build and sustain a best practices approach by communicating and advocation successful practices across the Group. Act as a consultant between the business and FBI to optimize outcomes. Prioritize all tasks through a big & fast matrix and allocate accordingly to analysts. Structure and execute larger scale FBI projects, managing FBI analysts and large sets of stakeholders. Analyze, measure and document individual performance of all implemented actions and overall business performance trends. Provide regular feedback to internal stakeholders on performance trends and improvement opportunities pertaining to the assigned portfolio. Perform other department duties and ad-hoc tasks related to position as directed by senior management

Qualifications



About you
Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum of 6 years of job-related experience Experience in preparing and giving presentations on business performance to senior management level. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on Tableau and Alteryx Tableau. Proven experience in managing a team of data analysts or business intelligence professionals. Experience in deriving insights from data and submitting actionable recommendations to management. Experience working on projects concentrating on digital transformation, continuous improvement and enhancements is essential for this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels in the organization. Experience in Airline/commercial/F&B or Retail would be preferred.
Technical Skills and Proficiencies:
Tableau: Expertise in using Tableau for creating dashboards and data visualization. The candidate should be able to connect Tableau to various types of data sources and create insightful reports. Knowledge of Tableau Server for publishing, scheduling, and sharing dashboards is required. Alteryx: Proficiency in using Alteryx for advanced data analytics. This includes data preparation, blending, and analysis. The candidate should be able to create complex workflows, macros, and apps in Alteryx. Experience with predictive, statistical, and spatial analysis using Alteryx is highly desirable. Data Analysis: Strong skills in statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting/predictive modeling, and multivariate testing.
Certifications:
Alteryx Designer Core/Advanced certification is preferred. Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate or Tableau Desktop Certified Professional certification is preferred. Data Analysis and Machine Learning: Experience with data analysis and machine learning tools in Google Cloud Platform such as BigQuery ML, AutoML, and AI Platform.
