Finance Analyst InternJob Summary:

As a Finance Analyst Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting processes. Working closely with experienced finance professionals, you will contribute to analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting key decision-making efforts. This internship is designed to provide university students with practical exposure to the world of finance while enhancing your analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and presentations.
  • Help analyze variances between actual and forecasted results.
  • Participate in data gathering and ensuring accuracy in financial statements.
  • Data Analysis:
  • Help analyze financial data and market trends.
  • Perform basic profitability analyses for products or business segments under supervision.
  • Assist in data input and management for financial planning.
  • Financial Planning:
  • Support the team in developing long-term financial strategies.
  • Assist in scenario analysis and risk assessments to help inform business decisions.
  • Collaborative Support:
  • Work with different teams to support financial analysis needs.
  • Help with ad-hoc analyses as required by the finance team.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Prior internship experience in finance or accounting (preferred but not required).
  • Skills:
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an interest in learning financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Eagerness to learn about financial regulations and accounting standards.

Key Competencies:
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects.
  • Team player with a willingness to collaborate and learn.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of finance tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus but not required.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in finance or related fields.
