The Events Coordinator is responsible to coordinate and execute year-round events. The role serves on the front line and help guide customers throughout the venue, provide services to companies, marketing partners, and any other customers that solicit information to organize an event(s) at the facility.

Accountable for a successful event
Undertake the organizational and communication tasks required to plan an event.
Develop and maintain an extensive network of contacts, both internal and external, to facilitate event coordination.
Plan and direct special events and act as an event(s) liaison between all KMD departments and vendors, donors, etc.
Identify target groups, develop concepts, design and coordinate mailings of promotional materials and invitations, and direct logistical planning.
Maintain records on event activities, progress, and status.
Attend events to oversee activities and ensure details are handled as planned.
Develop and control budgets on a program or event basis and negotiate financial terms under the direction of the Operations and Managing Directors.
Determine staffing needs for special events along with the Operations Director. Secure temporary or additional staff, as required.
Negotiate with and contact vendors for a variety of goods and services related to special events planning.
Monitor delivery of goods and services to ensure contract terms are satisfied.
Proficiency in event planning and coordination, including venue selection, logistics management, and vendor coordination.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ensure seamless execution of events.
Creativity and attention to detail to design engaging and memorable event experiences for guests.
Knowledge of entertainment operations and industry trends to curate entertainment options that align with event themes and audience preferences.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, entertainers, and other stakeholders to deliver successful events.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
