Job Description
Ensure that all equipment especially the air compressor, lifers and spray booths are maintained in good condition.
Minimize repair turnaround time by conducting a summary of required maintenance parts per equipment.
Execute basic repair works prior to extent of damage on the equipment and observing safety and %'s during the course of repair.
Replacement of motor belts, rubber pads including adjustment of chain and replacement of sprockets.
Installation and dismantling of old two post lifters
Checking of electrical components and switches
Perform inspection on the scissor lifts and four post lifter's power cylinder for any abnormal wear and tear of parts
Check /replace motor belts and motor oil for a reciprocating type air compressors
Check/monitor the condition of the screw type air compressors including the change oil and filters (After seeing the procedures coming from the suppliers)
Perform through check on air line and oil line every quarter for preventive measure on abnormal deterioration on hoses and pipe line
Coordinate with the workshop supervisor and/or suppliers all issues related to the control panels and other abnormalities in the operation
Perform bi-annual cleaning of oil coolers and exhaust ducting of the screw type air compressor
Check/replace all filters (Floor, ceiling, and pocket filters) by observing the maintenance schedule per area
Check/monitor the performance of all water separators and oilers on each line of bodyshop specially on the sprayboths and denting area
Perform annual general cleaning with the help of painters and other technician by removing all the dust and paint sludge from the burner and air intake side of the spray booths
Assists the maintenance personnel in replacing tube lights of the spraybooth
Check /inspect special service tools and perform inventory on each and every items being transferred on other branches
Maintain, repair and service records for all equipment. Prioritize, plan, organize and perform repairs and maintenance of equipment. Conduct spare parts inventory. Order/purchase parts and services for repair and maintenance of equipment. Communicate to supervisors all problems and issues related to equipment failure for quick resolution. Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed by self and others. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors as needed.
