The Role of Director of Spa:
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Director of Spa to join our Four Seasons Hotel Doha – A Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Hotel!
Reporting to our Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the financial and operational performance of the Spa and all its employees.
This person must be passionate and committed to providing first-class service following Four Seasons Standards and ensuring guest needs are met. To lead the operational and financial direction of the spa ensuring complete viability of the spa, maximizing all opportunities and resources. To maintain cutting-edge knowledge and make strategic and operational decisions in creating and implementing treatments and concepts. To ensure that the highest standards are adhered to throughout the spa and that guest service exceeds all expectations.
Our Ideal Director of Spa candidate will have:
An in-depth understanding of luxury brands along with previous experience within a similar Senior management Director-level role. Able to represent the brand through excellent grooming, a positive attitude, and a warm welcoming smile. Strong interpersonal skills are paramount, as well as the ability to multitask and solve problems.
Along with being strategic, analytical, and having solid business acumen, you will naturally also be a charismatic, nurturing, and inspiring leader with a strong passion for people's welfare and development. You will be the Cultural Advocate of the Golden Rule; creating great workplaces for all great people to deliver great experiences. Previous pre-opening experience is essential.
The Director of Spa will be leading a diverse & dynamic team that consists for lead therapists, therapists, attendants and coordinators. This leader establishes treatment protocols for cutting-edge spa treatments and massage therapies, conducts professional training, creates budgets, manages the Spa menu and leads by example. Creative problem-solving skills are a must. Administrative duties consist of but are not limited to payroll, team schedules and inventory amongst others. The Director of Spa duties include but are not limited to overseeing the Fitness, Pool, Spa & Retail operations of the Hotel. 5 Years of luxury hotel/resort experience is preferred. Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language is required.
