Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and analytical Director of Revenue Management to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities and driving profitability through strategic planning and data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize room revenue and overall profitability
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and historical data to forecast demand and adjust pricing strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align revenue management initiatives with overall business objectives
- Manage inventory and pricing across all distribution channels to maximize revenue potential
- Lead and mentor the revenue management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Prepare and present comprehensive revenue reports and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in revenue management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners and clients to drive business growth
- Participate in the annual budgeting process and ensure adherence to financial targets
- Optimize revenue streams across all hotel services, including rooms, food and beverage, and ancillary services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management, preferably in the hospitality industry and Luxury brands
- Proven track record of successfully implementing revenue management strategies and driving financial results
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Proficiency in revenue management systems, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant software applications
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities
- In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry trends, market dynamics, and distribution channels
- Experience in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across departments and with external partners
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and industry developments
