Dining Services Assistant I

In this interesting role, the successful candidate will be responsible for in carrying out high quality cleaning operation in and out of Kitchen area and all kitchen equipment by using correct cleaning materials, chemicals and detergents during the designated shift.

Key accountabilities for the role include:

• Clean all food production areas including pot and dish washing to the required standard of cleaniness
• Cleaning of of Kitchen and Kitchen equipment including burners, ovens, hoods, tilting pans, fat fryers etc.
• Washing and cleaning of kitchen floors
• Cleaning and srubbling of all equipment
• Ensure garbage bins are regulary emptied and kept clean and plastic liners replaced
• Use correct cleaning materials, chemicals and detergents
• Use correct and tidy storage of items supplied as part of customer amenities
• Undertake specific manual duties as directed such as loading, unloading and stowing items for stores watering plants 
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as dire ted by the Head of the Department
