Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and manage the financial planning and analysis function, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Financial Reporting:
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for the group, including consolidated financial statements.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Budgeting:
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process for the group, working with individual business units to prepare and consolidate budgets.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
Cash Flow Management:
- Manage the group’s cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations and investment.
- Develop and implement cash flow forecasting and management strategies.
Internal Controls:
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the group’s assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
Financial Strategy:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the group’s business objectives and growth plans.
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and the board of directors.
Tax Planning and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Develop tax planning strategies to optimize the group’s tax position.
Risk Management:
- Identify and manage financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and credit risks.
- Develop risk management policies and procedures.
Investment Management:
- Oversee the group’s investment activities, including capital expenditures and acquisitions.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial analysis to support decision-making.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage the finance team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the finance function.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate financial performance and strategic plans to internal and external stakeholders, including shareholders, lenders, and regulatory authorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience
CMA/CA certified
Experience in the food/hospitality industry is a plus.
