As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.
A Demi Chef de Partie will also be required to assist with food cost controls. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Conduct shift briefings in the absence of the Manager to ensure smooth operations. Prepare food, beverages, materials, and service equipment; cook and serve menu dishes. Supervise Kitchen helpers, including Commis, Cooks, Kitchen Attendants, and Stewards. Maintain cleanliness and reset work areas. Support staff performance with on-the-job training, coaching, and appraisals. Ensure staff attendance at Corporate Orientation within the first month. Address policy breaches with constructive feedback and disciplinary actions when necessary. Prepare and implement induction programs for new employees. Collaborate with superiors on budget preparation and financial targets. Enforce cost-saving and recycling measures. Monitor and report security incidents and accidents. Adhere to and enforce Food Safety Standards and Personal Hygiene Rules. Ensure timely monitoring of Food Safety Checklists.
