Job Description

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to the menu and recipes.
  • Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to high standards.
  • Monitor food quality, ensuring consistency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in managing ingredients and supplies, including ordering and stock rotation.
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and timely service.
  • Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff and apprentices.
  • Contribute ideas for new dishes and assist in menu planning.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain clear communication with the head chef and other team members regarding orders and any issues that arise.
