Job Description
We are looking for a DBN PWM (Produced Water Management) Offshore - A QC Supervisor E & I for one of our clients with the following details:
Start Date – APR 2025
End Date – OCT 2025
Location - Qatar Offshore, Rotational [28 days on/28 days off]
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Qualification: Engineering bachelor’s degree or experienced technician with HND/HNC and minimum of 15 years experiences in the oil and gas industry,
- Professional Experience (number of years): Around 10 years As a minimum, job holders must have extensive hands-on technical, project co-ordination and supervisory experience gained in an Oil & Gas Construction environment (Construction, Engineering, etc,
- Familiar with Completion Tools / OPERCOM Methodology.
- Valid ATEX/COMPEX OR IECEx Certificate with offshore experience at least 5 years of experience.
- Experience required on Vendor packages and practical knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as IEC standards.
- A good knowledge of COMPANY Standards and International codes/standards related to design, manufacturing, testing and inspection.
- Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets, and e-mail communications.
- Language: Fluent English,
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
- H2S, CA-EBS, T-BOSIET OPITO & Electrical Habilitation L1 approved trainings.
Activities:
Responsible for preparation and quality controlling the construction activities to the works related to DBN PWM, including HSE:
- To ensure compliance with HSE legislation, Company standards and procedures as they apply to project management and project engineering to ensure employee safety and legislative compliance.
- To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other COMPANY HSE procedures in all activities.
- To ensure compliance with Company Management System and applicable International Standards.
- To participate in the risk analysis as required to ensure safe and timely execution of the works.
- Conducts daily safety tours, toolbox talk audits and ensures all safety issues are reported through site management in a timely manner.
- Stops the work when necessary & report immediately to CSR/HSE Superintend any anomaly, violation & unsafe practice.
- Contribute to promoting safety culture by reporting safety observations.
- Delivers offshore Browne field projects, ensuring that no additional remedial work is required.
Scope and development:
- To carry out work in compliance with COMPANY values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed COMPANY priorities and objectives, COMPANY standards and procedures and good industry practices,
- Implement Quality procedures for effective supplier quality management and promote implementation of company policies, regulations, procedures, standards and specifications as relevant.
- Coordinate the inter disciplines, onshore team, Third-party inspection agency for dedicated scope of work assigned, act as COMPANY Quality focal point while conducting offshore survey or inspections.
- Ensures the timely completion of the job card works and monitor closely CONTRACTOR performance, work schedule and progress.
- Attend all Inspection activities as per approved ITP.
- Provide feedback on Quality matters within E&C Quality Department as might be required and promote anomalies reporting.
- Centralizes and Maintain all the offshore Quality documentation produced on vendors/supplier and ensure follow up and traceability being maintained.
- Ensures CONTRACTOR & In house technicians personnel training and qualification compared to the activities to be performed,
- Ensures that all installation steps, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities are properly completed.
- Ensures that incomplete activities are properly tracked and recorded under the punch list system.
- Conduct Site Quality Surveillance / Monitoring and Participate to audits as required on E&I related.
- Participates on request to QA/QC, construction and daily coordination meetings with all relevant parties.
- Ensures all construction/pre-commissioning documents are verified and compliant to technical requirements.
- Ensure the items are following IEC standards.
- Proposes actions plan and corrective actions for any deficiency, anomaly or non-compliance.
- Maintain the ATEX reports dossiers and update the regular the inspection status of each components feedback collecting from offshore to onshore ATEX focal point on daily basis.
- Maintains good relationships with CONTRACTOR but being strict to achieve the project objectives.
- Prepares a Return on experience (ROX) for on ATEX area discipline to quality and project.
- Carry out any other relevant duties or tasks that may be assigned by reporting line.
