Job Description

We are hiring a Data Engineer for one of our clients in Qatar.

Candidates who have the required qualifications and experience may apply.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Data analyst to understand the QDB data needs and engineer a sophisticated, sustainable, scalable data warehouse.
  • Design and maintain the Enterprise Data warehouse data models and framework.
  • Design and maintain ETL jobs to source internal and external data from variety of sources includes structured and un-structed (for example, APIs, JSON, Streaming Data and so on).
  • From given business queries design and deploy target Data warehouse data models and ETL jobs.
  • Produce data pipeline from the Data technology stack for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data.
  • Analyze and improve existing data solutions or replace with better alternatives.
  • Should have strong Knowledge of CI/CD process for ADF on Azure DevOps.

  • Azure Data Factory (Advanced)
  • Oracle SQL/PL-SQL (Advanced)
  • T-SQL and Procedures (Advanced)
  • Banking Domain (Advanced)
  • Data warehousing Concepts (Advanced)
  • Data Modelling (Intermediate)

Skills

  • Minimum 7+ years as a Data Engineer/ETL Developer, with 3+ years in Azure Data Factory and Banking Domain.
  • Proficient in Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, T-SQL, and Data Warehousing Concepts.
  • Advanced skills in creating pipelines, dataflows, and managing ADF platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes for ADF on Azure DevOps.
  • Residing in Qatar with valid QID.
