Nair Systems is currently looking for Senior Security Engineer for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.
Education & Experience Required:
1. Bachelor’s degree preferably in computer science, computer engineering or related subjects.
2. At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank or large corporate in an information security engineering capacity.
3. Professional certification such as CISSP is mandatory - Security engineering certifications and qualifications in Microsoft operating systems or Linux are mandatory
4. Cloud Knowledge specially related to Azure Security
1. Excellent oral and written communication skills (including report writing) in English and Arabic.
2. Good interpersonal and presentation skills. - Understanding of the relevant laws, regulations, and practices.
3. Personal integrity and self-management.
4. Planning, organizing, and analytical ability.
5. Results oriented.
6. Ability to communicate information security-related concepts to a broad spectrum of technical and non-technical staff.
7. Risk Management skills (risk identification, risk assessment, risk mitigation)
8. Maintain an understanding of all pertinent regulations as well as best practices pertaining to information security.
9. Flexible team player and able to work and deliver under pressure.
10. Ability to inspire and motivate others to gain commitment.
11. Exercise high degree of initiative and thinking to perform complex tasks where no procedures or processes are available.
Technology Knowledge:
Hands on experience on Information security technologies including firewalls, proxies, web application firewalls, IDS/IPS, ATP and sandbox solutions, EDR, vulnerability scanners, DLP, data classification tools, PAM, IAM, DDOS mitigation systems and more.
