Job Description

Cost Controller - F&B Experience


  • Analyze financial data and cost trends to identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvement, providing insightful recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and manage budgets, closely tracking expenditures and variances to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
  • Prepare in-depth financial reports and presentations, offering detailed insights into cost performance, budget compliance, and strategic financial planning to aid in effective decision-making.

Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in F&B Industry.
  • English & Arabic Language Mandatory.
  • Knowledge of financial software: Proficiency in using financial software and tools is essential for a cost controller to streamline financial processes, generate accurate reports, and efficiently analyze data. Familiarity with accounting software and advanced Excel skills are often prerequisites for success in this role.
  • A cost controller must excel in budgeting, from creating realistic budgets to monitoring expenditures and providing accurate financial forecasts.
  • Budgeting proficiency is a fundamental skill for a cost controller, encompassing the ability to create, monitor, and manage budgets effectively.
  • The skill set of a cost controller should include expertise in budgeting, covering the creation, monitoring, and management of budgets for optimal financial control.
