Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties include but not limited to:
a) To do corrosion monitoring in oil & gas fields.
b) To do corrosion probe rate measurement using handheld ER and LPR meters.
c) Interpret corrosion coupon data.
d) Carry out corrosion inspection
e) Check chemical injection rate
f) Prepare preliminary reports.
RequirementsQualifications
a. At least a Higher Diploma in Engineering
b. Minimum Five (5) years’ experience in Corrosion monitoring in oil & gas fields, with knowledge and experience of corrosion probe rate measurements using handheld ER and LPR meters, which will be provided by Qatar Energy.
c. Ability to interpret the weight loss coupon data
d. Proficient to carry out the chemical injection rate checking.
e. Proficient to carryout Corrosion inspections.
f. Ability to prepare quality preliminary reports in accordance with Qatar Energy procedure.
g. Good command of English language both written and spoken is required.
