In the role of Consultant or Specialist Urologist, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations, implement treatment plans, and perform surgical procedures related to a broad range of urological conditions. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients including history-taking and physical examinations.
- Order and interpret a variety of diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, urinalysis, and imaging studies.
- Diagnose and manage urological diseases including but not limited to prostate cancer, renal issues, and urinary incontinence.
- Perform surgical procedures ranging from minimally invasive techniques to complex surgeries as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Monitor patients' health status post-treatment and modify care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines to promote comprehensive patient care.
- Engage in ongoing education and training to stay current in urological practices and innovations.
