About the job Compensation Specialist

Job Summary : The Compensation Specialist will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of competitive compensation strategies across regional markets. This role will ensure that the organizations pay structures and reward programs align with market trends, legal requirements, and business objectives. The Compensation Specialist will play a key role in maintaining internal equity, supporting talent retention, and driving the company's total rewards strategy through proactive analysis and stakeholder engagement.


Operational:


  • Design, implement, and manage competitive salary structures across regional markets, in partnership with RHRBPs and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Analyze and benchmark compensation trends and practices in alignment with Org strategy to ensure competitive positioning to attract and retain talent.
  • Lead the salary review and bonus processes for regional markets, in accordance with the guidelines to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy within required timelines
  • Engage with key stakeholders, up to mid-senior management levels, providing expert guidance on compensation policies, proposed strategies and procedures, to maintain consistency across the Group principles, Reward philosopies etc.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international compensation regulations and legal frameworks, in partnership with RHRBP, local HR and Employee Relations to ensure global compliance.
  • Generate reports and presentations to support compensation decisions and executive reviews.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to drive the successful implementation of compensation initiatives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Address and manage compensation-related inquiries, audits, and reporting requirements with agility and professionalism.
  • Provide advice on expatriate staff compensation in the regional markets within the scope of company mobility policies and practices
  • Perform other department duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years experience in of compensation management with regional or global exposure
  • Strong knowledge of compensation frameworks, including compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and engagement across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong presentation skills with proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and advanced Excel skills.

Preferred (i.e. required to do the job successfully over time, can be trained or would be advantageous but not imperative)


  • Minimum of 1 year experience in managing global assignees
  • Experience working with grading systems like Hay, Mercer, or WTW.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools e.g. Power BI;
