Your Day to Day



As a Commis Chef, you will work closely with experienced chefs to assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes across our diverse kitchens. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for food and hospitality, looking to expand their knowledge and skills in a world-class setting.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in the preparation and cooking of food in accordance with the menu and kitchen standards. Ensure that food is prepared in a safe, clean, and organized environment. Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff and help with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen. Ensure high standards of food presentation and taste. Help maintain inventory levels and monitor the freshness of ingredients. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment. Assist with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations and equipment. Support the team in maintaining a smooth and efficient kitchen service.

What We Need From You



Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is an advantage, but not essential A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn and develop culinary skills Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices Strong work ethic with attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team Flexibility and willingness to work in various kitchen stations A professional culinary qualification is preferred but not required
