JOB PURPOSE The Commercial Lead is responsible for maximizing sales through effective analysis and cultivating a strong brand image in stores. He/she maintains and creates a compelling brand image within specific markets by strategically selecting products, implementing pricing strategies, and conducting business and KPI analysis to stimulate growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and business KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct necessary analysis and prepare commercial calendars by season, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Assist in developing the annual and/or seasonal sales budget for the area, monitor compliance with sales targets, and implement action plans accordingly.
- Oversee area-level stock levels, monitor product rotation, identify slow sellers and best sellers, and propose commercial activities to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with the team to establish a compelling image that aligns with trends, customer needs, and the commercial strategy by regularly sharing pictures of visual and commercial actions.
- Participate in trade marketing operations, including in-store, mall-based, and outdoor events.
- Maintain daily communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Cultivate strong relationships, involving the operations and HR departments, and actively participate in monthly focus meetings.
- Ensure that the floor layout adheres to brand guidelines and align with the commercial and visual strategy adopted and implemented in the region.
- Keep up-to-date on the latest fashion trends and organize workshops to enhance sales and overall brand image within the region.
- Specific for KIKO: Manage inventory, including cosmetics' expiry and FIFO (First In, First Out) concepts, to prevent writing off inventories after three years from production.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate the team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base, and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company.
LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Language Proficiency - Fluency in English.
- Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
General Experience Six to eight years of experience in Fashion Retail, or a similar role.
Managerial Experience
Three years of experience in a managerial role.
