About the role:
We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Chief Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a bright, energetic, motivational leader who will be responsible for the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department in support of all other departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition. Other responsibilities will include conducting safety inspections, training all colleagues on safety and emergency procedures, and working with vendors.
The Chief Engineer must be willing to respond to emergencies, and work with corporate maintenance on special remodeling projects or capital expenditure needs. This position requires overall maintenance knowledge and trouble shooting ability with skills in HVAC, carpentry, painting, equipment, and tool usage. Verbal and written communication, organizational, and presentation skills are of the utmost importance.
