Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to Cargo Supervisor.
  • Operate, maintain, and control cargo systems (e.g., heating coils, inert gas, ballast valves, crude oil washing).
  • Operate cargo pumps and crude oil wash machines as directed.
  • Manage tank filling and discharge by controlling ullages, temperatures, and oil samples.
  • Perform first-line maintenance of pump room equipment.
  • Assist mechanics and welders working in the pump room or on the cargo system.
  • Ensure equipment and system compliance with safety standards, including isolation and permits to work.
  • Support offloading operations and participate in fiscal metering and sampling system maintenance.
  • Maintain safe working practices and participate in emergency response activities.


Skills

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Pumpman on crude oil tankers or 1 year as an Engine Room Fitter with experience in overhauling pumps and valves.
  • FPSO experience is desirable.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cargo system operations and safety protocols.
  • Mechanical aptitude, particularly in maintaining cargo-related equipment.
