Position 01: Cabin Safety Training Specialist – Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) (CC.07)
About the role
As a Cabin Safety Training Specialist, you will be responsible to design and develop Cabin Safety Training courseware with the objective of providing a high standard of Safety trainings aligned with industry practices and meets with Qatar Civil Aviation Authority regulations.
You will,
·Be accountable for the performance management of the trainees and training team.
·Define training objectives, implement training plans in consultation with line manager to meet department goals and objectives.
·Supervise delivery of Cabin Safety training for Flight and Cabin crewmembers in accordance with the approved syllabus and published trainer guide, as well as review and assess instructor performance.
·Maintain a flying license in order to carry out regular duties, as well as periodically deliver training sessions for the department and work on a shift/roster basis.
About you
A successful candidate will have-
·At minimum a relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification or Diploma. A Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage.
· Minimum 5 years operational experience as instructor with Qatar Airways or in a similar capacity with another airline.
·Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
·Knowledge of aviation and aircraft systems
·Familiar with hierarchy of legislation (ICAO, EU-OPS or QCAR AIR OPS and QR Ops Manuals including the Cabin Safety Procedures Manual) and international safety bodies such as IATA (IOSA standards)
·Ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion with minimal supervision
·Ability to work independently with a multitude of tasks
·Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form
·Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills
·Ability to work under pressure and meet immovable deadlines.
·Demonstrate integrity, a ‘Can Do’ attitude and a passion for internal customer service
·Proficient in MS Office applications.
Position 02:Cabin Safety Specialist – Operations (CC.07)
About the role
As a Cabin Safety Specialist - Operations, you will be responsible to perform complex tasks by analyzing various components of the Cabin Safety Reporting System in Rolls Royce Safety Management – SMS Solutions or respective applications and assist the Line Manager in the implementation of the Safety Management System within Cabin Services.
You will,
·Assist line manager in creating and implementing a robust occurrence reporting/safety monitoring system.
·Collate information and conduct investigations on safety, Medical, Security and Fatigue events to identify their causes, perform risk analysis and identify trends concerning Safety Performance Indicators (SPI) and prepare monthly reports (i.e., Cabin Safety Action Group) for Senior Management.
·Evaluate onboard incidents and encourage active reporting of Safety Hazards via online reporting tools such as Rolls Royce Safety Management - SMS Solutions by monitoring daily events.
·Manage the implementation of Safety Management Systems (SMS) in line with international requirements
·Maintain a flying license in order to carry out regular duties, as well as periodically deliver training sessions for the department and work on a shift/roster basis.
