About the job Business Finance Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE:


  • Responsible for Finance functions, including but not limited to: preparation of financial data, monitoring of financial performance, compliance to Finance policies, monitoring of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable and staff supervision. Provide value-added and meaningful reporting and analysis for Financial Management.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • To ensure complete and accurate postings of financial records, this role is responsible to perform the following tasks:
  • Reconciliation of revenue transactions on a daily basis.
  • Set off sales collections on a daily basis.
  • Perform checks on sales documents and liaise with  Commercial teams.
  • Liaise with various departments on sales and refunds transactions.
  • Monitor for accuracy and compliance in accordance to accounting standards. Rectification of General Ledger errors during closing to ensure accuracy of reporting.
  • To present valuable financial performance report for the business, this role is responsible to perform the following tasks:
  • Analyze and submit monthly cost center reports for review to senior management and respective cost centers.
  • Regularly review the financial ledger for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger.
  • Regularly review the department financial objectives, plans, policies and procedures, and recommend appropriate changes if needed.
  • Support auditors during annual/quarterly audit to ensure full audit compliance.
  • To support new business system and finance processes, this role will be responsible to liaise with business and IT on projects to ensure all finance matters are streamlined.
  • Provide support to Holidays finance team in other finance tasks as and when required.
  • Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department
