Responsible for the allocation and planning of baggage handling resource usages for safe and efficient baggage handling operation from customer experience, OTP, and equipment, systems and facilities availability and reliability perspectives.
Responsible for providing procedural, and clerical support to the Duty Manager on a shift basis.
Generate and update baggage handling resource allocation plan as needed.
Monitors the actual operation and performs needed changes to the planned allocation based on operational requirements in real time.
Coordinate with BH Supervisors to resolve problems related to baggage handling resource allocation. Identify and escalate risks and/or operational deficiencies, and implements effective solutions.
Ensure to escalate to the line Manager on the necessary modifications or enhancements by providing supporting justifications to the processes, facilities and systems relating to baggage handling and hold baggage screening operations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Statistics or relevant technical field.
Minimum 3 years of job-related experience.
Relevant experience in a similar role in similar sized airport with in-line hold baggage screening system.
Experience with BHS Simulations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Proficiency in using Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
Basic knowledge of IATA requirement related to baggage handling operation.
