JOB SUMMARY



The Associate Warehouse I carry out any tasks in relation to receiving, storing, picking and dispatching of clinical and non-clinical supplies in the warehouse, CSB and PSS location. Depending on operational requirements the post holder may be assigned to any of the teams operating in the warehouse and other MM location.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS – SELECTION CRITERIA



Education : High School Diploma or Forklift license
Experience: 2+ years of relevant warehouse experience

Preferred


: Experience of Medical Warehouse environment or similar experience of automated warehouse equipment

Job Specific Skills and Abilities:



Demonstrated well developed written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated attention to details and good planning skills. Demonstrated familiarity in working with computer terminals and bar code scanners Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Fluency in written and spoken English

:
Demonstrated ability to learn new systems ERP and Warehouse management solutions experience Proficiency in safely operating fork lift trucks and other warehousing equipment

KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES



Carries out any tasks in the process of receiving, putting away, picking, issuing and dispatching of items. Checks and reconciles all incoming and outgoing paperwork for physical goods. Labels incoming and outgoing consignments correctly with all relevant information. Operates any electronic warehousing equipment, such as hand-held terminals, computers etc. according to established procedures. Ensures accurate data entry in the warehouse computer system. Ensures all items are picked according to their issuing Unit of Measure (UOM). Ensures all hazardous goods are accompanied by the correct documentation according to legal requirements and Health & Safety requirements. Conducts cycle counting and random stock takes as required. Checks items for damage and expiry date and removes damaged/expired stock to quarantine area as required. Ensures safe handling of dangerous goods. Provides excellent customer service. Keeps the warehouse clean and tidy and a safe place to work at any time. Reports any incidents related to health, safety, damage and disputes. Operate forklift, VNA, reach truck for pallet picks Replenishment to other locations Responsible for vertical movement for logistic operations to/from trucks and trailers and proper store Complies with policies, procedures and standards in warehouse operations.
