Assistant Credit Risk Analyst

The Assistant Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of individuals borrowers by analyzing bank statements, and other income data.

This role involves working closely with the Sales Organization to provide timely and relevant decision and response to In-House Finance Applications

Job Role:

• Analyze and assess retail credit applications by reviewing bank statements and other income documents as well as employment information to determine a borrower’s eligibility and credit worthiness.
• Provide timely communication to sales organizations about status of credit applications, as well as other requirements to support credit underwriting.
• Support in the release of Sales Orders for open credit customers.
• Support the Department with invoicing activities
• Conduct periodic reviews of existing credit portfolios to identify potential risks.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in credit risk management

Experience and Technical Knowledge:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Familiarity with data analysis tools and software (e.g., SAS, SQL)

• Proven experience in the field of Credit or in a similar role is an advantage.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
