About the job ARCHITECTURAL BIM MODELER
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The purpose of the job of an Architectural BIM Modeler is to create and manage accurate, data-rich 3D models for architectural projects. These models are used to visualize, analyze, and coordinate building designs with other disciplines, ensuring a seamless workflow from concept to construction.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, manage, and update detailed 3D BIM models for architectural designs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, MEP, and construction teams, to integrate and coordinate architectural elements.
- Prepare detailed construction documentation, shop drawings, and schedules derived from BIM models.
- Perform clash detection and resolve issues to ensure the seamless integration of architectural components with other disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with GCC-specific building codes, standards, and project specifications in all architectural BIM deliverables.
- Participate in project coordination meetings to discuss and resolve design and modeling challenges.
- Utilize BIM tools to optimize workflows, enhance design accuracy, and ensure efficient project delivery.
- Support the development of as-built models and documentation for handover and facility management purposes.
- Maintain adherence to BIM standards, protocols, and templates throughout all phases of the project.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in architectural BIM modeling.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software.
- Demonstrated experience in working on GCC projects, with familiarity with regional codes and practices.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction methods, and material specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with the capability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary environment.
