Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities:
Liaise with the Career Services Senior Specialist to facilitate opportunities for alumni and students to network with professionals from business and industry and attend career related professional development opportunities.
Plan and coordinate meetings/events that include alumni and volunteer recognition banquets, receptions, and reunions
Coordinate the design, editing and publishing of the alumni newsletter to ensure that content is appropriate, engaging and in line with branding guidelines.
Assist in development of the alumni web page and social media pages to ensure alignment with UDST guidelines, content is kept up to date, activities and events are promoted and alumni success stories are shared on a regular basis.
Establish and build relationships with successful alumni associations at other higher education institutions to enable sharing of best practice.
Identify and liaise with local businesses and external stakeholders interested in supporting the Alumni Association through sponsorship of Alumni events and activities.
Prepare the annual Alumni Report and produce event and activity reports, to evaluate the effectiveness of existing and proposed strategies for alumni relations and their contribution to achievement of strategic goals.
Coordinate and produce reports, proposals, and analysis for management, to include monthly budget to actual reviews of areas of programmatic responsibility, periodic reports to reflect relevant data gathering and analysis, and post-event reports and recommendations.
Develop, sustain, and strengthen alumni chapters which focus is on establishing and maintaining connections through academic/degree programs.
Develops and presents educational programs for alumni, including lectures, seminars, and workshops.
Track alumni data, including attendance, participation, graduation rates, education progress, and job history
Ensure alumni programs operate in compliance with funding sources so that intended results are achieved
Produce statistical reports and analysis of relevant data, as required by the line manager.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Certifications:
Bachelors in a relevant field is degree required
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field is required
Language:
Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic language required.
