Job Description
Key Result Areas:
Counsel and guide students who are experiencing personal or emotional issues by providing or facilitating individual or group counseling and care using spiritual counseling techniques that is appropriate to the situation.
Provide mental health support and resources to address emotional and psychological challenges.
Develop and execute strategies for promoting wellness through activities, workshops, and resources.
Promote a holistic approach to well-being, encompassing mind, body, and spirit.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Organize educational seminars, workshops, and events to raise awareness and provide tools for personal growth and well-being.
Engage in outreach efforts to connect with the broader community or organization members.
Develop and manage budgets for wellness and spiritual life programs.
Allocate resources effectively to support program initiatives.
Regularly assess the effectiveness of programs and initiatives, collecting feedback from participants and making necessary improvements.
Provide reports to senior leadership on program outcomes and impact.
Ensure that all programs and services adhere to legal and ethical guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in counseling and spiritual guidance.
Embrace and build upon the spirit of collaboration and legacy of respect across QF to ensure a continuously welcoming environment for all religious beliefs, and backgrounds represented in the EC community, with a particular focus on students.
Serve as a lead counselor at Education City in times of crisis by working closely with PUs and QF leadership to provide a calming voice for the QF community as well as remain committed to addressing the emotional and spiritual needs of students during times of tragedies or emergencies.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in theology, Islamic policy or religious studies, counseling, psychology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Ordained or licensed as a spiritual leader (if applicable).
8-10 years of relevant full-time work experience in program development, management, and leadership, 3 of which at a supervisory level.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills.
Knowledge of diverse spiritual and religious practices and an ability to respect and accommodate different belief systems.
Understanding of mental health and wellness practices.
Familiarity with relevant legal and ethical considerations.
Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
Significant multicultural experience in an international setting.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
