Job Description

Key Result Areas:


  • Provide support in communicating updated Student Financial Services policies and procedures regularly through digital (i.e. social media feeds, website updates) and written (i.e. notice boards, letters ,etc.) platforms.
  • Provide student financial services information in response to requests from parents and students; assist students with applications as requested 
  • Advise students and parents regarding student financial services options, processes, and requirements in accordance to QF Student Financial Services policies and procedures.
  • Assist students with their applications; Evaluate information submitted by applicants and recommend type financial services; Maintain proper records for related areas.
  • Develop instructions, guidelines and tips to assist students in properly packaging applications. 
  • Advises students on responsibilities towards student financial services.
  • Assists students with resolution of unusual problems; escalate problems to direct reporting line.
  • Contribute to Qatarization and talent development by fostering capabilities within the Career Development Center, transferring knowledge and mentoring and motivating others to achieve excellence.
  • Comply with all QF policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with Qatar Campuses to secure the timely submission of all required information from them and students side.
  • Set students repayment plans; Provide loan repayment awareness to universites, students and guarantors.
  • Coordinate between scholarship team and financial aid team to come up with the best repayment schedule.
  • Develop repayment procedures to assure loan return to Qatar Foundation; Maintain databases of defaulted students.
  • Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field & 6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience; Master’s Degree preferred. 
  • Commitment and enthusiasm for QF organizational vision and objectives.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and deadlines based on significance and effort, ensure overall productivity.
  • Quality-focused, able to demonstrate and use quality management methods, techniques.
  • Committed to actively pursue ongoing efforts to improve performance to fulfill requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to logically and persuasively outline and present thoughts, ideas, and specifications through oral communications and in writing.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to negotiate skillfully with both internal and external groups in challenging situations; can be direct and forceful as well as diplomatic.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office application
