Job Description
Receive, review, prioritize, and process work requests for maintenance of equipment/ systems/ buildings/ facilities and other related services.
Supervise work to ensure conformity with established work standards and requirement.
Guide contractors in safe working practices, take all necessary precautions to ensure a safe working environment, and ensure that they receive any other needed training and technical advice including in the proper use of tool and test equipment.
All types of Water quality aspects planning, execution, review, deviations rectification follow-up all stages.
Practice and enforce adherence to good housekeeping practices to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Maintain required work records. Prepare required work reports, including daily & monthly reports, Incident & Accident reports, Staff & Contract appraisals etc.
Ensure adequate inventory of spare parts, consumable materials, special tools, and test equipment. Initiate purchase requisitions for new material to ensure appropriate stock levels. Receive and inspect stock orders to ensure the completeness and quality of ordered items. Repair and reuse or adapt material whenever possible to conserve resources and minimize waste
Review and approve permit to work system documents after verifying compliance with all safety measures. Issue permit to work and authorize safety overrides.
Plan & carry out routine, preventive & corrective maintenance programs to ensure operational continuity and achieve departmental KPis.
Supervise and participate in the planning, installation, maintenance, and testing of wide range of facilities and systems in area of expertise; ensure use of calibrated / certified testing tools and lifting devices.
Evaluate systems, draft scope of work for plant changes and modifications of present systems, snag completed projects, and generate relevant work reports.
Participate in and advise on the planning, modification, implementation, testing, and commissioning of new and existing systems, including liaising with interdisciplinary engineers, vendors, consultants, and contractors.
Liaise with statutory and regulatory bodies such as Kahramaa and Civil Defense to obtain approvals, renewals etc.
Fulfill all requirements of the MARAFIQ to maximize availability and reliability of facilities and minimize operating and maintenance costs.
Ensure that activities of the Department conform to ISO 9001, Quality Management systems, ISO 14001, Environmental Management Systems, ISO 410001 & maintains JCI and MOPH accreditations standards.
Provide necessary support for Facility HVAC systems and equipment's Revalidations.
Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in any Engineering Discipline or any relevant field of study.
6-8 years of relevant full-time experience, preferably in facilities management at similar large/diverse organizations.
Expertise in testing, maintenance, troubleshooting in various engineering equipment's / systems.
Proficiency in English; able to read and understand technical manuals, Proficiency in Arabic preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, ERP, MARAFIQ.
