Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
  • Scheduling and Planning:
  • Develop and manage housekeeping schedules to ensure all areas are cleaned regularly.
  • Plan and oversee deep cleaning and special projects.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Address and resolve any housekeeping-related issues or complaints.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure timely procurement and proper storage of housekeeping materials.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Implement and monitor housekeeping protocols and procedures.
  • Reporting:
  • Prepare regular reports on housekeeping activities and performance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.

Skills

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

·         Experience: Minimum of 5 years in housekeeping management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

·         Skills and Competencies: Team management, scheduling, quality assurance, communication.

 

Qualifications

·         Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.

·         Certifications: Relevant professional certifications are desirable
