Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Inspection:
  • Conduct regular inspections of civil structures, including buildings, roads, and pavements.
  • Identify and address maintenance needs and structural repairs.
  • Repair and Improvement:
  • Plan and execute repairs and improvements to civil and fabric components.
  • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
  • Technical Support:
  • Provide technical expertise in civil engineering and building fabric.
  • Coordinate with contractors for specialized repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure all structures comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Reporting:
  • Prepare regular reports on the condition of civil structures and fabric components.
  • Document all maintenance activities and improvements.

Skills

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

·         Experience: Minimum of 5 years in civil engineering or a related field.

·         Skills and Competencies: Structural assessment, maintenance planning, technical expertise, communication.

 

Qualifications

·         Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

·         Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is desirable.
