Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

To coordinate and control a full range of tasks for a specific professional area of work, to ensure that tasks are delivered effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive, nor exhaustive):

  • Support projects and operational activities that maintain and develop partnerships with governments, the private sector, UN clusters, UN agencies and other relevant stakeholders in order to maximize coordination and resources raised for the programme.
  • Solicit inputs, including operational updates, including from other WFP entities, to support the work led by Head of Partnerships to inform partner audiences on WFP’s programmatic offering; support drafting quality briefs and proactively highlight strategic issues to senior staff to inform best course of ac􀆟on and nurture partnership growth.
  • Contribute to partnerships strategies, including the development of Partnership Action Plans.
  • Support drawing up quality partner proposals and reports.
  • Collate data, analyze, and support the preparation of accurate and timely reports to donors and other stakeholders.
  • Support preparations for organizing donor/diploma􀆟c missions to WFP offices and operations and support producing relevant power point and digital presentations and briefing materials.
  • Other as required.
