We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President - Risk Stewardship Sanctions.

Business - Risk and Compliance 

Principal responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of Programme Advisory providing key SME input/direction to all Sanctions programmes/projects/initiatives
• Act as the subject matter expert in relation to Sanctions change and BAU initiatives to ensure compliance with legislation, regulation and Group policy / standards relevant to sanctions
• Attend key forums as required;
• Responsible for providing advice and input on the prioritisation decisions and direction to Stakeholders to ensure an effective Sanctions Programme is in place
• Report transformation and BAU progress, issues, dependencies and risks to programme leadership and steering committees as appropriate and make recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits
• Report to Global Sanctions and any other relevant committee and Governance forums
• Appropriately managing, identifying, mitigating and escalating key issues/concerns in a proactive manner to the Group Head of Sanctions as they arise and/or are overdue and their progress to remediation/closure
• Collaborate with stakeholders to set project strategy, articulate targeted benefits to stakeholders and take joint accountability for benefits realization
• Attendance at relevant forums/meetings acting in capacity of a delegate for Head of Sanctions Programme Advisory
• Responsible for providing support to Compliance Services including Sanctions programme roll-outs, planning and implementation
