As a Product Manager in Global Banking Platform team, you will play a critical role in developing and enhancing our banking products related to asset (lending) and liability (deposits) management. Your primary focus will be on Interest and Amortization Management, ensuring our platform meets the evolving needs of our clients and remains competitive in the market.
Job responsibilities
  • Leverage your expertise in financial services industry to design innovative solutions that optimize asset and liability product management to deliver next generation Interest Management and Amortization capabilities.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry best practices related to interest and amortization.
  • Contribute to the strategic development, ongoing refinement & execution of the Global Banking Platform capability roadmap.
  • Manage existing features and actively lead the discovery, definition, design, and development of new features to advance the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive solutions across the organization, including engineering, design, operations, legal, compliance, controls, and risk to define product requirements and specifications.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Create and maintain a healthy product backlog, define user experience needs, write user stories, create product value proposition.
  • Partner with product delivery management, release engineering and engineering leads to estimate, track and deliver on core capabilities.
  • Communicate product plans, progress, and updates to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Build relationships and engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure alignment with business objectives and OKRs.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; 
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in the financial services industry, with a focus on banking products
  • Minimum 10 years of finance experience with minimum of 3 years in product management experience.
  • Strong understanding of asset and liability management, particularly in Interest and Amortization Management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to present facts, thoughts, and ideas in a clear, concise, and convincing manner to senior stakeholders and developers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, diverse, cross-functional, and multi-regional team environment.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
