JOB TITLE: UI/UX Design Lead
DEPARTMENT: Design and Development
REPORTS TO: VP of Development
PURPOSE:
The UI/UX Design Lead is responsible for conceptualizing and executing compelling visual designs, leading the creative team, and ensuring alignment with the company’s branding and strategic goals. This role focuses on delivering innovative and aesthetically impactful designs across diverse platforms, including branding, UI/UX, marketing campaigns, and digital content.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creative Leadership:
- Spearhead the development of creative concepts and ensure cohesive visual storytelling across all projects.
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary design team, including graphic designers, UI/UX specialists, animators, and video producers.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project objectives and constraints.
- Brand Identity Management:
- Oversee branding initiatives, including logo design, brand guidelines, and visual assets, ensuring consistency across platforms.
- Refresh and innovate brand identity for clients and internal projects.
- UI/UX Design:
- Lead the design and optimization of user interfaces and user experiences for SaaS products, websites, and mobile applications.
- Conduct research, usability testing, and data-driven iterations to improve the user journey.
- Content Creation & Graphic Design:
- Develop high-quality digital content, including infographics, storyboards, marketing collateral, and packaging designs.
- Collaborate on campaigns for top-tier brands to produce engaging visuals that resonate with target audiences.
- Project Management:
- Define project timelines and ensure the on-time delivery of design deliverables.
- Maintain a repository of creative assets for streamlined future access and usage.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years in creative roles, including 2+ years in a leadership capacity as Art Director, Creative Lead, or UI/UX Lead.
- Proficiency in tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Procreate.
- Strong command of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Industry Expertise: Proven experience in branding, UI/UX, and digital marketing for SaaS products, startups, and global brands.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, team management, and client-handling abilities.
- Portfolio: Must showcase a diverse portfolio of projects demonstrating creativity, technical expertise, and leadership.
