QualificationMinimum of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (Training Officer – Equipment)/ Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education / teaching (Training Officer). ExperienceMinimum 1-year related experience Requirements

Responsibilities
Conduct training and assessments including but not limited to site specific Training courses; Safety Awareness programs; VOCs; and Inductions.
Execute training and assessments in accordance with RDMC Training Standards and as outlined in the learning and assessment strategy of the Employee Development Program, ensuring that all training and assessment is current and meets Barrick and legislative requirements.
Assist the Training Supervisors/Specialist with training package development/review.
Provide trainees with feedback and updates on their progress as per the mutually agreed training plan.
Report to stakeholders on training progress of personnel engaged in the development program.
Undertake field observations for performance of personnel operating procedures (technique, equipment abuse, work area set up etc.).
Ensure all training paperwork and records entered correctly.
Collate and report on trainees’ progress for monthly reporting.
Assist site-based Safety personnel with incident investigations (from a Training perspective) if required.
Assist Site Supervisory Teams to develop, monitor and maintain Site Crew Trainer and Operator proficiencies.
Assist with the delivery and development of new technical and operational training to Crew Trainers to support current and future mining operations.
Ensure compliance with the RDMC Management System procedures.
Assist with the management of the site training records and data administration.
Assist with the development of training business cases to support site operations.
Liaise with all site training stakeholders including site management team, external training providers and Barrick L&D team.
Actively promote and participate in professional development activities on an ongoing basis.
Deliver appropriate educational programs.
Assist and advise on design and development of new training material if requested.
Conduct site training audits.
Record accurate details of trainees and the units of competency commenced and completed.
Evaluate and report on all site training and education activities as required.
