Position Title: Technical Recruiter

Position Purpose:
IKONIC is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and understanding of technical recruitment processes and strategies. As a Technical Recruiter, your responsibilities will include sourcing, screening, and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. You will also network both online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce time-to-hire, and ensure we attract the best professionals. Ultimately, you will build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our IT positions.
Education & Professional Qualification:
- Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field from a reputed local/foreign University.
- Certification(s): Not mandatory, but certification in a relevant field is a plus.
Experience:- Minimum 1 year of experience in the same capacity in a well reputed organization.
- Experience recruiting for various technical stacks (e.g., MEAN,MERN, Python,Al/Ml JavaScript, etc.).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and modern technologies.
- Familiarity with compensation structures in technical fields.
Responsibilities:- Collaborating with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; reviews job descriptions for vacancies.
- Assisting with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.
- Identifying the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
- Drafting recruitment advertisements; posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions.
- Identifying appropriate candidates and assessing their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications.
- Connecting qualified candidates with hiring managers.
- Maintaining contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
- Vetting potential employees' credentials.
- Providing advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates.
- Offering job positions and completing the relevant paperwork.
- Keeping track of all applicants as well as keeping applicants informed on the application process.
- Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace.
- Leading employer branding initiatives
- Organizing and attending job fairs and recruitment events
- Forecasting quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Requirements- Knowledge of full-cycle recruitment using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Strong knowledge of technical roles, including software engineers, developers, system administrators, and IT professionals..
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills.
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
