We are seeking a skilled Technical Program Manager with IT audit experience to lead, coordinate, and drive technology initiatives while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and audit requirements. This role bridges the gap between technical implementation and compliance assurance, ensuring project success while aligning with organizational risk management goals.
Key Responsibilities- Program Management:
- Lead cross-functional security centric technical projects ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Develop and manage project roadmaps, timelines and deliverables.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, while effectively addressing and resolving any roadblocks that may arise to ensure seamless execution of tasks and projects.
Audit and Compliance:
- Ensure project deliverables adhere to relevant regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
Governing the Enterprise and Cyber Risk Management Program:
- Assist in defining and maintaining the Enterprise Risk Management ‘ERM’ framework, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
- Partner with stakeholders to align risk management practices with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate regular risk reviews and assessments, ensuring timely reporting to the Risk Committee and leadership teams.
- Coordinate with internal teams to prioritize remediation efforts for identified risks, including operational, technical, and strategic risks.
- Contribute to building risk dashboards and reporting tools for enhanced visibility and decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to ensure proactive risk management.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between Security Engineering and InfoSec to align priorities.
- Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership and relevant committees.
- Facilitate meetings to drive consensus and address audit-related concerns.
Metrics and Reporting:
- Define, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for programs.
- Ensure transparent reporting on project health, audit readiness, and compliance progress.
- Visualize Security KPIs for audit reporting and other forums.
Qualifications- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or equivalent role.
- 3+ years experience in IT audits, compliance, or risk management.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Knowledge of frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance.
Certifications (Preferred):
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or equivalent
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent
