The Role: Team Lead, Global Prospecting

The Location: Islamabad, PK
Role Overview:
A leader who is excited about developing their team’s career and facilitating the achievement of goals. You will be managing a team that is focused on the front-line interactions for Market Intelligence along with your own pipeline goals. You will be engaging with regional Sales Managers to develop the strategy and diagnose their team needs for all of the Market Intelligence products. You will ensure you execute the broader level strategy by running a team that generates interest in our offerings and ensures a funnel full of qualified leads for sales teams to pick up.
The Team:
The Prospecting Team is responsible for creating more interactions and introductions to our internal teams. You are part of a broader global team across the Philippines, Pakistan, India, China, and Argentina. You will have an opportunity to be involved in creating the strategy for the hiring, development, and direction this team takes as they develop their approach and evolve the team culture.

Responsibilities:
Coaching, Coaching and more Coaching! Getting creative with tools to help this team continuously grow and improve their product knowledge and quality of interactions with external companies.
Meet your own prospecting/sales pipeline goals/KPIs along with helping the team achieve theirs.
Participate in developing a team strategy, evolving a repeatable cadence to drive quality introductions for expanded internal conversations.
Manage the expectations of our stakeholders in the Revenue org and update them proactively weekly, monthly and quarterly.
Participate in managing and enhancing a process by working with operations to follow up where there is external interest in our offerings and conduct research to identify companies that will benefit from the value of our offerings.
Create an effective cross-team feedback loop to increase team efficiency and productivity.
Build and cultivate a competitive team culture that makes cold calling fun and effective. Create motivating performance incentive awards and competitions.
Actively manage the CRM process for easy tracking across all teams, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate, and documents are attached.
Participate in preparing and analyzing the team's efforts (reports and dashboards) and adjust operations as required.
Coach employees for High Performance by focusing on effective Career Development.
Grow your knowledge of market activities including competitive products, pricing and policies, new technology, product specifications and new products and communicate findings to your manager
Identify the right group/users within an organization and engage them in a conversation about our different products
Identify new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research.
Develop an outreach strategy to drive appoints between prospects and Sales Representatives
Required Experience and Knowledge:
A minimum of 2-3 years of sales development/client services experience is required. Experience in setting up teams and processes from scratch will be preferred.
Project Management Experience and/or relevant qualifications. Solid organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
A solid communicator who is well-versed across different, functions, cultures and geographies. Ability to engage senior-level stakeholders.
Working knowledge of Performance and Developmental coaching for employees at various levels and with different functions. An understanding of our internal compensation structure will be preferred.
Well-versed in S&P Global Market Intelligence core offerings.
Has experience working with a CRM tool (preferably Salesforce) and has a good understanding of reporting.
Ability to engage, motivate and empower employees coupled with the ability to manage and hold them accountable and develop them higher roles in the process.
Goal and action-orientated, with the ability to work towards revenue targets
Must be flexible in work schedule
