System Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements.

• Analyze existing systems, identify pain points, and propose innovative solutions.

• Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC to align with business needs.

• Integrate Shopify and Dynamics 365 BC with other systems using APIs and EDIs, ensuring seamless data flow.

• Design, develop, and maintain system interfaces for efficient data exchange.

• Create detailed technical specifications and system documentation.

• Develop and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards for data visualization.

• Collaborate with business users to define KPIs and design relevant reports.

• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend enhancements.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

• Coordinate and manage projects with 3rd party service providers for Dynamics 365 BC and Shopify related future developments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 4+ years of proven experience as a System Analyst, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC, PowerBI and Shopify.

• Strong knowledge of system integration techniques, including APIs and EDIs.

• Proficiency in Power BI for creating interactive reports and visualizations.

• Familiarity with data modeling, SQL, and database management.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

• Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC, Shopify, or Power BI are advantageous.

Skills:

1. Technical Proficiency:

• o Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC: In-depth knowledge of configuring, customizing, and optimizing Dynamics 365 BC to meet business requirements.

• o Shopify: Familiarity with Shopifys e-commerce platform, including setup, customization, and integration.

• o APIs and EDIs: Strong understanding of system integration techniques, including RESTful APIs, SOAP, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).

• o Power BI: Ability to create interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI.

• o Requirements Gathering: Proficient in eliciting and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.

• o Process Analysis: Analyzing existing processes, identifying pain points, and proposing efficient solutions.

• o Data Modeling: Understanding data structures and relationships to design effective solutions.

• o API Integration: Experience integrating different systems using APIs for seamless data exchange.

• o EDI Integration: Knowledge of EDI standards and protocols for B2B communication.

• o Ability to diagnose system issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend enhancements.

• o Proactive problem-solving to address technical challenges.

• o Effective communication with cross-functional teams, business users, and technical stakeholders.

• o Collaborating to define KPIs, design reports, and ensure alignment with business goals.

• o Ensuring accuracy in system configurations, data mappings, and report designs.

• o Documenting technical specifications and system changes.

• o Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

• o Pursuing relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC, Power BI).

• o Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements.

• o Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to changing technologies.
